Meet us at Gen Con 2023!

It’s that time of year again, and we’re thrilled to announce our plans for Gen Con 2023. We’ve got new games to demo, promos to hand out, and some very special, first time ever events you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re a seasoned tabletop gamer, a role-player, or new to the scene, CMON has something for everyone!

Let’s dig in! First up, at BOOTH 823 come on over to meet the team, demo some games, and take a closer look at some incredible painted miniatures! We’ll have Stranger Things: Upside Down, Metal Gear Solid: The Board Game (pre-orders still open here!), Masters of the Universe – Clash for Eternia, and CMON and Adrian Smith’s latest collaboration, Mordred (late pledges now open here) available for demo.

And check out the Asmodee store to purchase copies of Stranger Things: Upside Down, Zombicide: Undead or Alive, Masters of the Universe-Clash for Eternia, and more. People who buy Stranger Things: Upside Down will receive a promo print copy of the “Eleven Dashboard” (see it here).

Meanwhile at BOOTH 2627, our friends at Spin Master Games will have the newest chapter in the Marvel United series, Marvel United: Spider-Geddon, available for demo! Spin Master Games will also have limited copies of Marvel United: Spider-Geddon for sale – these are the first copies available, with the game expecting to reach retail in October.

While you’re there, don’t miss out on this year’s promos! Spin Master Games will hand out both a Hero Deck for Mr. Sinister (Marvel United: X-Men) as well a set of Super Hero ID card + Enemy Super Hero card for Agent Coulson (Marvel Zombies – A Zombicide Game) every day at 11 am and 3 pm. Limited quantities for each timeslot!

Next up, for those of you who saw our recent Marvel Multiverse RPG announcement and are interested in demoing this incredible new game from Marvel, stop by World of Game Design at BOOTH 2661. If you demo the game or purchase the Core Rulebook, you’ll get your hands on the coveted Marvel RPG Dice translucent promo die. Links to secure a demo spot can be found HERE.

Marvel United: Civil War Tournament

The Marvel United: Civil War expansion introduces an all-new VS mode to the Marvel United system, and now you can try it out first hand! Come be a part of the very first beta test of the Convention Tournament Mode designed around this new level of play.

Prepare to be immersed in a thrilling battle of super-powered supremacy as Marvel United characters clash not against a villainous threat, but against each other! Fans and newcomers alike can enjoy this exciting new experience in the world of Marvel United, using characters from both the Marvel United and the Marvel United: X-Men base games.

Zombicide: Undead or Alive Convention Scenario

And finally, we are happy to host our very first Zombicide: Undead or Alive convention scenario! “It Takes Two Cowboys” is an innovative mission where distinct pairs of Survivors attempt to complete their own missions and escape from the city. But the most interesting thing is that it is a “endless” mission where a duo of players can sit at the table at any time during the game, draw a goal and that’s it, they are already in the game interacting with the other players who were already playing!

When a duo completes their objective or is eliminated by the zombies, other players take over the control of these Survivors. Max 6 players, playing time for each pair is about 25-30 minutes.
