New Releases Available Now

August is here! And with it, we have a quartet of new releases available for you. Hitting store shelves today is Zombicide: Invader, Foodies, and the Free Folk and Night’s Watch Heroes 1 boxes for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game. While we’re here at Gen Con (booth #417. Stop by if you’re here!), you can head down to your LGS and pick up these great, new releases. Let’s take a little lookat each.

In Zombicide: Invader, humanity has become a star-faring race. With ships plying the space-lanes, a new source of energy needed to be found. It seemed that the solution had been found in Xenium, a substance mined from the planet PK-L7. Corporations set up mining facilities on the planet and things went fine… at first. Then, all of a sudden, the aliens that had peacefully cohabitated with the colonies turned into ravenous monsters. Now it’s a fight for survival in the cold depths of space. Zombicide: Invader is the new stand-alone sci-fi version of the popular board game. Each player takes on the role of a Survivor on the planet PK-L7, with everyone having to work together to complete objectives so they can fight back against the aliens and hopefully survive to escape the planet.

In Foodies, players become the head of their own food court. Wanting to feed the masses, they add food stalls from different culinary traditions from all around the world. Each one grants a special bonus when the people start flocking to it. Create great fusion designs and hire world-renown chefs to increase your popularity even more. In the end, only one food court will be the most popular eatery in town. Anyone else ready for lunch?
